Brent Bralley (JKB Company, Inc. dba: Accord Commercial Realty) has provided general building maintenance services for the Workforce Solutions Panhandle office since before I became the Facilities Coordinator in 2002. He has proven invaluable to keeping the doors open in a public, very high-traffic operation. He is always willing to roll up his sleeves and handle any situation to the best of his abilities. He is extremely organized so I know that he will respond quickly to all my requests and will follow through to the task’s completion. His extensive knowledge and experience allow him to coordinate with outside contractors, when necessary, to advise me on the most efficient methods to manage a State of Texas-owned property. Woodhaven Management Corporation has been in the business of managing commercial office real estate since 1997.  Properties managed have been primarily governmental office properties located throughout Texas and New Mexico.  These properties were owned by a handful of absentee owners, including a publicly traded real estate investment trust, that wanted full service management including budgeting and monthly financial statements.   Working out of Midland, Texas with managed properties scattered from far east and south Texas all the way to El Paso in West Texas and Amarillo in the Texas Panhandle, it was necessary for Woodhaven Management Corporation to contract with local managers in various markets.

Brent Bralley was one such property manager.  He began working for Woodhaven Management Corporation in July, 1998, and worked for us until the Amarillo property was sold by its California owner in February, 2008. He managed the 23,780 square foot Texas Department of Human Services building located at 6200 IH-40 West in Amarillo, Texas.  His duties included taking care of any and all repairs and maintenance needs.  Brent was able to perform many small tasks himself but more importantly, he was able to hire, coordinate, and supervise various vendors and contractors during repair projects, roof replacements, parking lot repair, HVAC work, and remodeling jobs.  Brent organized and supervised a major ADA compliance renovation at this property in the fall of 2006.

Brent’s strongest characteristic was that he was able keep the tenants happy while keeping costs down.   He was excellent at analyzing problems and finding alternative solutions. If Woodhaven Management Corporation were to land a contract to manage another property in the Texas Panhandle I would hire Brent Bralley for the job in a heart beat.  He did a fantastic job for us in the near ten years he worked for us.
